The CPC Virtual Convention is being held on March 18-20, 2021 and in preparation for this, input from grassroots members is key to ensuring that the CPC Policy & Constitution reflects our members and supporters. Your ONB Policy Committee is asking you to submit constitutional and policy proposals for consideration We have made it easy for you to submit your ideas via our Policy Submission Page. The link to this page was sent via email to all ONB members on January 7, 2021.
All submissions must be:
- Maximum of 50 words
- Please ensure that you indicate what section of the policy or constitution document you are making the submission for (i.e.: Government Accountability, Fiscal, Environment etc)
- You can include a rationale of up to 100 words to help describe the reason for your proposal
- Members may submit one addendum, amendment or new proposal
Submissions will be accepted until close of business on Sunday January 17, 2021.
Once all the submissions are received, the ONB Policy Committee will review the proposals and put selected ideas forward to the Board of Directors for final approval. The approved shortlist of policy and constitutional proposals received will then be posted to the CPC Ideas Lab website.
The CPC's 'Ideas Lab' is the tool that EDAs across Canada are using to submit their proposals to the Virtual Convention and it is available to you in read only mode.
