Suggested Crime control measures: NEW 106. Firearm policy addendum proposal 4. Create a national public registry of malefactors who have been convicted of criminally misusing firearms. This registry will be checked daily for miscreant behaviour by registrants. Registrants will be continuously monitored, prohibited from associating with felons and will be subject to random searches by law enforcement to deter recidivism. Justification: Most violent crimes are perpetrated by reoffending miscreants and violent criminals known to police. The police catch these armed criminals who are then released by lax judges on their own recognizance. These felons cannot be trusted and must be monitored to prevent reoffending.
